This evening, I’m going to Grand Haven, MI to a new church start called Extended Grace to talk about Hinduism. Then we will watch the movie “Siddhartha” followed by more discussion. From 1967-1974, I was a disciple of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. I became a swami or renunciate myself and lived in India for three years. Shortly after leaving that life, I read Herman Hesse’s book Siddhartha and then saw the movie. It had a powerful effect on me. I could really relate. I re-read the book recently, and it is still powerful. My life is still changing and evolving. I’m still watching the river flow–ever the same ever different.
ShalOm,
Steve
