PHILOSOPHICAL REFLECTIONS

My recent study of Stoicism and Existentialism finds them lacking, although not without redeeming qualities.

Existentialism says our life answers the question, “What is the meaning of life?” better than our philosophy may. To this end, I lived my life as art to make a statement that I present in An Authentic Life: A Spiritual Autobiography, which serves as a cautionary tale as well as an example of the contemporary spiritual quest as I leave bread crumbs for those who follow. <https://www.radha-krishnaism.org/2012/06/an-authentic-life-free-download/>

My philosophical studies led me back to Process Theology, which I embraced in seminary, 1988-91, and prominently featured in Universalist Radha-Krishnaism, 3.2 Summary Presentation, pp. 40-57 that I based on Cobb, John B., Jr., and David Ray Griffin. Process Theology: an Introductory Exposition. Unfortunately, that footnote was left out of the book.

I want to write another book that will make the next step in the Westernization of Radha-Krishnaism—a process based theology book or essay that fleshes out the theology from a contemporary Western perspective that embraces pluralism, panentheism, and inter-relatedness. I ordered On the Mystery: Discerning Divinity in Process by Catherine Keller to provide a theological framework to hang things on.

I’d like to have an editorial team like I had for Universalist Radha-Krishnaism. I invite interested people to contact me at sbohlert[at]gmail.com. Thanks for your interest. I hope to hear from you.
