Ballot Initiative Update

I just copied this from peacefulsky.com the main website for this initiative.

The simple, direct ballot initiative question is this:

“Shall public policy be amended to end all marijuana eradication operations and transfer any and all manpower and funds for such programs to anti-methamphetamine education and treatment programs?”

Yes
No

We Need Your Support Saturday August 19th
We ask people to show-up for a demonstration for THIS cause on this coming Saturday morning. Meet at the THC Ministry office at 8 a.m. at the Moses Building, 94 Kamehameha Avenue upstairs in Suite number 2.

Bring a positive, easy-to-read-from-a-distance sign. At 9 a.m. we demonstrate at a high-traffic area nearby.

If you’re interested in taking the greenharvest funds and applying them towards Methampetamine Eradication, please show your support at the demonstration and the County Council meeting below.

We Need Your Support Wednesday August 23rd at the County Council Meeting

The County Council is inviting testimony from people for the public hearing at the Hawaii County Council. We are gathering at 8 a.m. on the lanai of the Hawaii County Building for a conch shell blowing, circle, blessing and preparing for 3-minute testimonials each on the record, on public access tv, etc.

Testimony can come in a few different forms. The most powerful is personal, eye-to-eye with the council at the meeting. With everyone getting three minutes the meeting could potentially take a few days. Roger most highly recommends written testimony prepared in advance so it can be delivered by fax, letter or email -AND it can be spoken at the meeting itself, too.

So basically, we’re trying to get as many people as possible to support our initiative by coming to the meeting. Everyone will have the opportunity to show support.

Spread the love
